The Rhum Bayou Reserve Select Barrel 40° is an award-winning aged American rum, produced in Louisiana from local sugarcane and aged in ex-bourbon barrels using the Solera method.
- Nose: Intense and indulgent, it offers aromas of creamy vanilla, of apple, of cinnamon and notes of cocoa and spices.
- Palate: Round and ample, the palate opens with a character of dry oak reminiscent of bourbon, followed by pronounced flavors of cinnamon, maple syrup, toffee, vanilla, and dried fruits.
- Finish: The finish is dry and persistent, with lingering notes of dark fruits and wood, as well as a vegetal touch.
